We are looking forward to your arrival, but as you may have noticed, there are things a little different as what you are normally expect from us.
That is why we would like to inform you about all the different options during your stay at Hotel Jakarta.
For the real hotel Jakarta Experience, you must have tasted our signature dish, the “Table Jakarta” our version of the Indonesian rice table. We serve the Jakarta table during lunch in Café JKRT from 12.00-17.00. The table Jakarta can also be ordered as room service, but the experience of eating in our café is priceless.
In addition to the Jakarta table, we also have our extensive a la carte menu, so there is something for everyone.

Room service is available until 22.30, so you can relax in your room in the evening with something delicious from Café JKRT and a cocktail from cocktail bar Malabar.

For the best sandwiches, coffee with freshly baked apple pie, organic soft drinks or cakes from our own pastry department, you can visit our in-house bakery, Westers bakery. Take a seat in our bakery in the subtropical garden or bring something delicious to your room.

The highlight of Hotel Jakarta is cocktail bar Malabar at a height of 42 meters, with an amazing view over the river IJ.
For the best cocktails you can visit Malabar this weekend from 12.00-17.00.
From December 24th, Malabar is open daily from 12.00-17.00.
From 17.00 to 22.00 we offer the possibility to pick up your cocktail in Malabar on the 8th floor and to take it to your room, so you can also enjoy after 17.00 the best cocktails.

For swimming pool, fitness, sauna and steam bath we work with time blocks of 30 minutes via a reservation list. Hotel guests can make a reservation at check-in or during their stay.

The light artworks are placed in the public space, meaning they are visible and accessible for everyone. The route is 6.5 km and goes via Centre-East. For the optimal festival experience, you can choose between the following walk products:

This is a digital map, including an icon on every artwork location. If you click on an icon, more information about the work and the artists will appear. The map needs to be activated at an artwork (via QR code on the artwork signs) and is then available for 48 hours on 1 device.

From the comfort of a heated canal boat, you will enjoy a 75 min (approx.) canal cruise, sailing past all of the light artworks. Your experience starts at the cozy decorated departure piers. On board you will enjoy the ‘Shared Light’ audio play, which tells you everything about the artworks and all the stories about 10 years light festival.
