Meetings in Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam

Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam offers 245 m² of meeting space for various events. This space can be divided into three rooms. All rooms have plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows, giving them a light and spacious feel.

In addition, each room offers fantastic views on not one, but two sides: on one side, the IJ river and Amsterdam North, and on the other, the subtropical courtyard garden with meter-high palm trees.

The meeting rooms are named after the largest cities on Java, Indonesia. The outline of the island of Java is carved into the bamboo ceiling. The cutout features a unique light display; the lamps represent the cities on the Indonesian island. And, the larger the city, the larger the lamp.

Workshops & Activities

Showround

Curious about the story behind Hotel Jakarta and its sustainable architecture? During a tour of approximately 45 minutes, we will take you through the building and tell you more about the design and its unique features. The tour costs €15 per person, including coffee, tea, or soft drinks.

Prefer a shorter tour? We can also give a welcome speech in your reserved space.

Spice up your meeting: Sambal workshop

During a two-hour workshop, you will be introduced to the world of sambal. We will start with a short introduction and tasting session with small bites and accompanying sambals. We will then demonstrate two types of sambal, after which you will get to work in groups to make your own sambal.

The workshop costs €35 per person and can be booked for groups of 10 to 25 people.

Shake it up: Cocktail & Mocktail workshop

During this workshop, you will learn how to make two cocktails (or mocktails) under the guidance of our bartender. You will discover the basics of shaking, learn more about spirits, and make one classic and one signature cocktail.

The workshop lasts 1 hour and costs €25 per person, for groups of 10 to 18 people. Available between 12:00 and 16:30.
