Reservations & opening hours

Café Jakarta is the living room of Java Island in Amsterdam. You are welcome from early in the morning until late at night. Unique dishes are prepared with best of both worlds. Fusion dishes, where western ingredients are combined with oriental spices and flavours. In addition, we also serve traditional Indonesian cuisine and western food.

The spacious terrace is located on the sunny side of Hotel Jakarta and offers an amazing view towards the river IJ and the passing ships.

Café Jakarta is daily opened from 07.00-22.30

Breakfast is served on
Mon-Fri from 07.00 – 10.30
Sat-Sun from 07.00-11.00

Lunch and dinner is served
Daily from 12.00 – 22.30

Bao Brunch - Sunday May 11th

                                                                                                    

                                        
On Sunday 11 May at 2PM, Bao Brunch is back, especially on Mother’s Day! Treat your mother, friend(s) or partner to a unique brunch experience with a 3-course menu full of tasty Bao Buns, surprising bites and matching cocktails.

Chef Rendy Reanaldy has created special 4-course chef’s menus combining the flavours of Indonesia with Western products and preparations. The menu bears the name Dua Rasa, which means ‘two flavours’ and symbolises the surprising connection between two cuisines. A unique culinary experience at the most beautiful place on Java Island!

Café Jakarta will be open for lunch and dinner during SAIL, the maritim event which takes place from the 20th untill the 24th of August.
