On Sunday January the 21st we organize an exclusive open recruitment day as we are looking for ambitious new talent to add to our Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam team. We are looking for professionals, who are enthusiastic and dedicated to serve our guests at the highest standards in a unique green environment.
200 spacious and unique boutique style rooms and suites, a subtropical garden created by Hortus Amsterdam, 245m2 of meeting space, wellness with swimming pool, a large restaurant with sunny terrace next to the river IJ, our inhouse Bakery and coffee bar and skybar Malabar with stunning view of the river IJ and the historical center.
A historic location with memories of the East… At the head Java Island in Amsterdam, thousands of travellers once embarked upon a journey to the Dutch East Indies. Today a building has arisen that is remarkable both for its sustainable design and spectacular architecture: Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam. It is the latest addition to the ‘fleet’ of WestCord Hotels. The cradle of the hotel group is located on Vlieland where ‘Hotel de Wadden’ opened in 1968.
Today, WestCord has 15 unique hotels, including two special locations with a link to the Dutch history of steam shipping: the ss Rotterdam and Hotel New York in Rotterdam.
